About MDG Builders

Our story

MDG Builders began with Emil, our founder, doing hands-on general construction in Seattle. Those years on job sites taught him what homeowners value most: someone who picks up the phone, explains the plan in plain language, and stays accountable until the last detail is right.

He brought that approach to California. Today My Design Guide Inc serves Southern California, from Lancaster to San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area, helping homeowners turn ideas into finished kitchens, bathrooms, floors and spaces they love coming home to.

How we work

We sell, design and manage every project, and the work is performed by licensed, insured subcontractors in each trade. That model lets us match every project with the right specialists, from C-39 licensed roofers to tile setters and finish carpenters, while you keep one point of contact, one schedule and one written proposal.

What we specialize in

Our focus is kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, flooring, general construction such as room additions and ADUs, and modern microcement finishes that transform surfaces without demolition.

Licensed and reviewed

My Design Guide Inc holds California CSLB license #1040337, Class B (General Building), and is rated 5.0 from 47 reviews on Houzz. Read what clients say.
